The latest in road unicycling technology from Nimbus Unicycles: the world's first production unicycle with a disc brake! Also features a highly adjustable handle system. Nothing less than the best!
The brakes fitted to this unicycle offer considerably smoother and controlled braking than traditional rim brakes. They remove the snagging and inconsistent braking caused by even the best rim brakes. The disc is fitted inside the frame so protecting it from accidental damage and keeping it away from your legs. The brake is fitted to a superlight aluminium spindled Nimbus ISIS hub, helping this to be the lightest fully kitted 36” unicycle on the market. Bengal Helix 1.1 hydraulic disc brake set with 160mm disc rotor.
The wheel is constructed using a newly redesigned light weight Stealth Disc rim, featuring 18mm cut-out holes for reduced weight.
The Shadow handle is constructed to offer maximum versatility and minimum weight without any compromise in performance. The low profile of the base allows even relatively short riders to use this handle, unlike some other designs which raise your saddle height. The base also by-passes the traditional 4 bolt seatpost fitting and utilises the saddle's front and rear handle bolts. This innovative new design gives the saddle and handle an unparalleled degree of rigidity and stiffness.
The Shadow handle is supported on a latest generation super tough BMX style pivotal seatpost. This allows for 4 x 6 degree adjustments via an integral high tensile bolt.
The handle comes with two T-handle extensions as standard, one straight and one with a 30 degree bend. Both of these are 400mm long so allowing you to trim them to your required length. Should you wish you also have an option to increase their length via a clamp by up to 100mm. These T-handles can be fitted either facing up, down or straight depending on your preference. This is the most adjustable and customisable handle on the market!
