Children's Unicycles

To ride a unicycle a child needs to be able to reach the pedals. The right size depends on their leg length.

  • Choose a 12" unicycle for under 7s
  • Choose a 16" unicycle for the average 7-10 year old
  • Choose a 20" unicycle for age 11 and up, or younger kids who are tall for their age.

If a child can comfortably reach the pedals on a 20" unicycle then that is generally the best option to go for, as they will be able to use this size all the way through to adulthood. It is better to shorten the seat post than it is to buy a unicycle that is too small and quickly outgrown.
