Magura HS 33 Rim Brake with Steel Braided Hoses

Magura HS-33 brakes beefed up with steel braided hoses. These hose lines won't break or get ripped out easily.

This brake comes with full stainless lines installed by Unicycle.com. The new Plazmatic crossover line is less prone to be ripped out while riding.

Be sure to choose the correct hose length. Measure from the brake mount to the bottom of the saddle, then from the bottom of the saddle to the brake handle mount. Add the total, then add at least 8cm to ensure adequate length. You can specify the length you'd like up to 1m in the Delivery comments field. For most riders and most unicycles 45cm is adequate.

  • 14-mm master cylinder & slave pistons offer 25% more power than standard hydraulic brakes
  • Aluminum T-blade levers with turbo pad-wear adjuster knob
  • Does not include mounting brackets and hardware
  • Steel-braided hoses on master cylinders and cylinder-to-cylinder Plazmatic crossover
  • Hose to brake lever cut to standard (18") or custom length (specify in the Delivery comments field)
  • Crossover hose lengthened to 25cm for use with a 3 inch tyre if necessary (please specify in the Delivery comments field if you need this)
  • Optional upgrade to KH Spooner brake lever extender.

Note: to mount this brake you will need a set of Magura Brake Clamps, and either a KH Brake Mount or KH Rail Adapter and KH Seatpost. We highly recommend the use of a brake lever extender (Delta or KH Spooner) with this brake. A brake lever extender allows much easier braking as you can use two or three fingers to pull the brake lever instead of just one. The lightest (and best) setup is a KH Adjustable post, KH Brake Mount, Magura Brake Clamps and KH Spooner.
