Joe Dyson

I started riding 5 years ago, after meeting Tony at the Day Night Thriller 2003 and seeing offroad unicycling for the first time.

My first unicycle was a Nimbus 24, which took me a week to break and since then i've been riding Kris Holm unicycles exclusively, with a lot of breakages and upgrades in the last 5 years.

I've competed in every major NZ event since 2004, as well as the Australian UniNats in 2007, and UNICON XIV in Denmark in 2008. Last year I competed in and organised UNICON XV in Wellington. I've also done regular trials demos at various places around the country.

I'm currently the President of the NZ Unicycling Federation and i've been heavily involved in it since it's creation. I'm about to become a skydiver, and am looking at being one of the first people to BASE jump with a unicycle.
