Out of the regular group of us that ride each weekend, we have got five Nimbus MUnis, three Quax Cross 24" and one Quax MUni 24" with the Nimbus being the preferred by everyone that has ridden both. The Glovers have one of each and the Nimbus is always the first out of the shed. A couple months back my Quax was out of action with a broken fork and Murray loaned me one of his Nimbus 24" for a couple of weeks. I quite agree with the Nimbus being lighter and the saddle being far better. In my view it is worth the extra dollars (if you have it). Julian has a Quax MUni 24" which is VERY heavy even over the Cross 24" like mine and the Glovers.

We are very happy with the product - easy to assemble and arrived on time and in good condition. We have issued 6 licences to students who now have sufficient control they are allowed to ride anywhere in the senior playground. This has inspired others to persist and try and get their licence.

We are very happy with the unicycle and the delivery was very prompt - well in time for Christmas. We assembled it quite easily (which was great for us!!) and one of our boys mastered the skill very easily. The other is still getting there - but will with more practice no doubt. We were very happy with the service and the person who we spoke to on the 0800 number was extremely helpful and courteous. In fact it was his good sense, willingness to answer questions and be so helpful that swayed us to buy the unicycle from your company. We have been very happy with the service overall.

I was extremely pleased with the service, my order arrived within a couple of days of my placing it. I ordered three, one for each family. At first it seemed impossible that they ( my grandchildren) would ever ride it, but with plenty of practice (and a bit of competition between the families) they now look like pros. 6 Kids are riding and a couple of them can now mount the cycle with out any support beside them. I was very happy with using your company for my Uni Cycle order. I found the site easy to negotiate, the prices were very competative, The item arrieved promptly I was surprised as it was xmas season when I ordered and I didnt expect to recieve it till well after the holidays. It arrived well packaged. I am a newbie to uni cycling at 52yrs Im a late starter. haha, my progress is much slower than if I was perhaps 12yrs, but I am progressing, I can now do 60m without grabbing the fence. I brought bmx type armour elbow and shin/ knee, and I found that my confidence improved, I cant remember if your store provided basic protection, but if not that would be a suggestion. A friend also started to learn after I told them my stories, they also brought armour, and found their confidence was extended. He is in his 60's.

I received my new Qu-ax in good time and the new cranks had been put on as well. Thanks for letting me change them over to the ones i wanted. The thing that sucked was that the day before the unicycle arrived I fell over at work and broke the cartilage on two ribs! This was very sore and meant that I couldn't ride for a month!!! I have only just started riding it and it is great. A lot stronger than my last one (the cranks would bend and then I broke the shaft!) and nicer to ride.

Thanks, the KH24 is awesome and worth every cent! I can ride up and down pretty much anything with this; it feels very solid while still being reasonably light; and the wide rim and huge tyre grip pretty well even on loose dry gravelly stuff such as Mount Vic and Makara Peak seem to be covered in lately. More fun than my 29er muni, which is now relegated to occasional commuting.

My Unicycle is great. Now I can keep up with my 9 year old son on his Trials Inferno! I bought the 26" MUNI more for the wheel size and the selection of tyres available, than the fact that it was a MUNI. I learn't to ride 2 years ago when I was 55 and won't be jumping off picnick tables any time soon like my son does! I've put a road tyre on it. My 6 year old daughter has just learn't to ride the 16" that my son learn't on. All good ;) We ride with Unisoc here in Christchurc.

I am really happy with everything. The uni arrived in perfect nick and went together nicely. I have been having fun learning to ride... its been a few weeks and I really only get to practice for a few minutes each day, but I can now go a few meters without support before it all turns to poo. I was looking on TradeMe at unicycles and noticed on one particular auction there was a note in the description that said the vehicle was purchased from unicycle.co.nz which led me to your site. I didnt know there were so many varieties of unicycle and it was fun to look around on your very user-friendly site - after about 15 minutes of browsing Id decided on what I liked and put my order in. The uni arrived really fast and packaged well, was easy to assemble and I was out the back leaning against the garage trying to balance before lunch. As Id never had anything to do with a unicycle before this purchase it took a few hours before I was riding around - thanks brochure and youtube for advice on how to get on and ride - and Ive been having fun ever since. Well a month down the track and things are progressing well.My 12 year old son is off and really quite competent. I in my 40s am taking a bit longer to master the beast, but can ride round about 4 basketball courts reasonably well and am now learning to turn.It is all so frustrating, but I guess it is time on the seat. The bike arrived in perfect condition and was easy to assemble. My friend who bought from ...someone else..., and bought a learner model, has already had to replace the seat and is onto her 4th set of pedals.In saying that she is 15 years younger than me and can ride much better. It is my sons Bday in November and if he is still as keen as mustard riding the uni I will let him pick a model of his own, then I can have mine back! Yes the unicycle has been brilliant. The tire is awsome and gives and nice smooth ride. The seat is really comfortable to sit on and good for long runs on my unicycle. The unicycle arrived on time and it was in good conditon. The only thing that was disappointing was the colour of the rim compared to the colour on the seat. The seat was the same red in the picture on your website but the rim colour is closer to a pinkish colour than a red colour when looked at in day light. But other than that the unicycle is awesome. I've been very pleased with unicycle.co.nz. I've ordered 2 quax muni cycles. The first arrived very quickly indeed and I was really impressed with the speed of dispatch, of delivery, and pbt's order tracking facility. I couldn't get my husband off the muni long enough to be able to ride it myself so ordered a second. Delivery was not as good on this occasion, I suppose it was made worse in that I wanted the cycle for a particular day. The cycle got mis-directed initially, but pbt made every effort to get the parcel here on time using overnight courier. Their attempts were let down by west coast couriers in greymouth who held on to the package for a couple of days before delivering it. Another disappointment this time was that the box arrived battered with holes in it where the cranks had pushed through, it's always a bit of a worry when it looks like your precious parcel has been thrown about. That said, the muni was in mint condition. I recieved first class customer service from Steve Pavarno who got onto pbt when the parcel was mis-directed and kept me up to date with progress. He also offered to take up the matter of the condition of the box with the delivery company. Considering the great service they provided the first time and the fact that the cycle was none the worse for it, I decided not to persue it. We've been having a hoot on the muni's and are really happy with the purchases, the quality's good for the price and they perform very well. Replaced a couple of screws because they were soft and mis-threaded, but this must be a minor because I bought another one anyway. I like the unicycle.co.nz website. It's a one stop information resourse, and has plenty of products to choose from. I'll certainly shop there again. Am very tempted by the glow in the dark banana carrier. I am very satisfied, delighted and happy with my purchase. The order arrived well on time (only a day or two after ordering) and I am yet to fully pay for it so it arrived ahead of time in a way. The products are so far in good condition- I don't think I've bent the cranks yet, although with all that weight in the wheel it must be only a matter of time. I still want to upgrade to the Fusion Freeride saddle- I've got the gel seat sitting at home in the wardrobe unused ready for trading (or selling if a local wants it I guess). I still need the Nimbus frame too but that will wait- perhaps I will get a rails seatpost and the cumbersome handle thingy too just to find out what the fuss is about. $320 left to pay- that'll take me a while. I can't believe I rode such a small unicycle for so long. It makes perfect sense to ride a coker when one wheel is your main form of travel. Thanks guys! After previously purchasing a learner unicycle from a Local Bicycle shop, and having real problems with it, i decided that when i purchased my next unicycle i was going to get it from a proper Unicycle supplier - Not to mention that the Bike Shops range of unicycle was rather limited. I have just recieved my Unicycle and begun the (painful!) process of learning to ride it! Battered, beaten, bruised, scratched, down but most certainly not out, so far i have ridden/sat on the seat holding onto something for about 40mins.... i am able to mount with out any real issues (while holding somthing) and then let go and ride for about 5m before i find my self either on my nose or on my back... its so fun! Thank you so much you have given me alot and made this possible for me! You can goto sleep knowing you made one insignificant aussies day! Your guidance and advice has been brilliant! The customer service is excellent! If ever i get good enough to go pro or start a craze i will be reffering EVERY ONE to UNICYCLE.CO.NZ! Just a note to inform you that I have learnt to ride my unicycle to an elementary level. I can ride 100 metres unassisted. It took a month of regular practice and I took a few knocks, but the day came when something just clicked and I got my balance. By the way I will be aged 67 this year. I'm glad to have bought the unicycle from you. I am now convinced that anybody can learn to ride a unicycle provided that they have learned to walk first. That walking ability proves that they have the necessary balance hardware already, and it just needs to be reprogrammed to work a unicycle. That is no harder to do than learning to walk as a toddler, and every toddler gets there eventually without any help. So just see yourself as a toddler and keep plugging away at the unicycle. You'll get there. PS. I am nothing special as a person, gymnast or athlete, but I believed what I read that ANYBODY can do it. So I thought that must include me. And it does.

Found the unicycle - i somehow must have given you 22 P[...] Cres instead of 28, Thank god My mother knew the lady at 22 - and funnily enough she must be about 80 years old and only has 2 or 3 teeth left. High Quality 24" learners unicycle - I bought this a few months ago to learn how to ride, i found it suprisingly fun and easy, so now i am selling this great learners unicycle so that i can upgrade! Selwyn School took delivery of its new unicycle at the end of the first week of term. The cheque should be going out with the next accounts. The staff members think it is a huge joke... Apart from a few interesting experiments inside at home I have had no chance of finding out if the thing is as unrideable as it certainly looks. Already at school it is becoming somewhat of a local legend, and there is an unending procession of young rascals at my school workshop door wanting to view this extraordinary ultra-cool mode of transport. They try their luck, find out it's not easy, fall off, go to the back of the queue for another turn, and finally ask how early I will be in the next morning. There is already talk of forming a school unicycle club with membership restricted to competent riders, which is odd, because not one of them has gone solo yet. Anyway, to get to the subject of my email, I am in deep personal trouble. The trouble is that I now have this growing inclination in my declining years to ride a unicycle. It may well herald the onset of senile dementia, because I turn sixty-one next January. I am a shortish, active type, under 70kg, don't look excessively grey and wrinkly, and am still kayaking and riding a mountain bike for fun, but I think that people may draw the line at my unicycling. This is your one and only official opportunity to talk me out of it and save the unicycling movement from getting a bad name. If you feel unable to do this, I must warn you that I intend placing an order for [...] if that's OK. Now I am quite sure that you would never knowingly put the life of an old and foolish man in any sort of danger under normal circumstances, however it has been said that every man has his price, and yours may very well be $205.00 plus freight. This is a chilling thought, which leads me to make a final plea for decency and fair play. If you have no scruples whatever to your name and intend to sell me the above merchandise regardless of possible consequences to myself and the dignity of the school which employs me, then the very least you could do is put me in contact with a discreet and caring competent unicyclist in my immediate area. Preferably an accomplished and glamorous unicycling granny who could assist me initially in maintaining my balance and perhaps give me cups of tea when I fall off. Failing that I would be prepared to accept anybody who can give me a few pointers and keep a reasonably straight face as they help me to my feet or call the ambulance. Know of anybody like that in Rotorua? I await your reply with bated breath and cardiac tremors.

I'm just writing to say how awesome my new Nimbus 28 uni is that I brought from you guys last week. The first ride was great. (And all the others after) I think I had a permanent fixed smile on my face!! And I love the blue rim. Its a fantastic colour.
